The Charter Awards
Bursaries - A gift with lifelong impact
Since the Royal Charter of 1541 and the arrival of the first 50 King's Scholars, it has remained part of our mission that we should be able to support the education of deserving children, regardless of their family circumstances.
Our 50 at 500 vision
The School's vision is to be able to support 50 full-fee bursary holders, 500 years after our first 50 scholars, with the launch of The Charter Awards. To fund these bursaries, we need your help in increasing the School's endowment to £50 million.
Why give?
King's is a special place. The ethos of excellent, all-rounded education has helped generations of children from all backgrounds to realise their talents and to contribute to society. We believe this is an ethos worth preserving and passing on to more extraordinary pupils from ordinary backgrounds.
