Privacy Policy 

The OKS Association ("we/us/our") is committed to preserving the privacy of all visitors to our website at  ("Site"). Please read the following privacy policy ("Policy") to understand how we use and protect the information that you provide to us. You should read this Policy in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions of Use.

We have adopted a set of information management guidelines which have been developed to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, together with any associated legislation.  We also take note of advice published from time to time by the Information Commissioner.  

Accordingly, our guidelines are subject to change and any corresponding changes to our Policy will be posted on this page without notifying you that the change has occurred. Continued use of the Site after such a change has been made indicates your acceptance of that change.

A summary of the measures taken to protect our users' privacy is as follows:

- We reserve the right to disclose information (including demographic information) about your usage of the Site to third parties, but in anonymous aggregate form only.  We will not reveal your personal identity in connection with the disclosure of such information. 

- Only our authorized personnel have access to your information.  We will keep your information secure by taking appropriate technical and organizational measures against its unauthorized or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.

- We are not responsible for the privacy policies of websites linked from the Site.
What personally identifiable information do we collect about you?
We collect information on our users in two ways: through cookies, and through you sending information to us. 

A cookie is a small, numeric text file that is stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive.  Any information you provide to us is held securely on our web servers and not on your machine.

Personal information
Personal information (that is, information from which you may be identified) may be collected from you through your use of enquiry and feedback forms and every time you e-mail us your details.
We will retain the personal information provided by you for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes listed in this Policy; and we rely on you telling us promptly if your name and address or any other details change.
We may from time to time send you information about us. If you wish to opt out of receiving information from us please email  stating that you would prefer not to be contacted.
What do we do with the information collected?
Your personal information will be used for several general purposes, including: providing information that you have requested; handling your enquiries, reviewing, improving and personalizing your experience on the website, providing access to some areas of the website, keeping you up to date with services which may be relevant to you, notifying you about updates to the Site.
We may perform statistical analyses of user behavior in order to measure relative interest in the various areas of our site (for development purposes). In performing these statistical analyses, we will disclose information to third parties only in aggregate form. Personal information on individual registered members will not be provided to any third party.

We will only use your personal information as described in this Policy.
With whom do we share the information we collect?
We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. However, we may provide aggregate statistics on our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors.  These statistics will include no personally identifying information.
Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to request details of any information we may hold about you (for which we may make a reasonable charge).  Requests for such information should be in writing, enclosing proof of identification such as a copy of your passport, driving licence or other documentation confirming your name and address (for example a utility bill) and be addressed to:

Data Processors
We may employ external companies to act on our behalf as data processors for internal business purposes.  By using the Site and sending us your personal information you consent to us transferring your personal information to such companies. We will ensure that such companies abide by this Policy and we will not use companies located outside of the European Economic Area.
