Two Pupils to Represent Jamaica in Rugby

Jamaica Rugby has been developing a group of young players from the Jamaican diaspora in the UK to prepare them to represent their country at an international tournament in Kingston, JA, in July this year.

Two current King's pupils, Kyan Cherwayko (6a, Galpin’s) and his younger brother Matteo Cherwayko (5th, Galpin’s) have been selected to represent the Jamaica 7s U19s squad.

The tournament will feature Under 19s teams from all over North America and the Caribbean.

Kyan and Matteo are currently training and also working hard to help the team find enough funds to travel together and compete as the home side in this major competition.

If you would like to help support Kyan, Matteo and the u19 team, you can make a donation via the team's GoFundMe page.
