Oz Clarke (MO 1962-1967) Awarded an OBE 

Oz Clarke (MO 1962-1967) has been awarded an OBE in the UK New Years Honours list for his services to broadcasting and journalism. 

Described as one of the world's leading wine experts, Clarke has written dozens of best-selling books including  Let Me Tell You About Wine  (2014) and presented the BBC series  Food and Drink  between 1982 and 2002. He has also made numerous television appearances alongside British TV presenter and journalist, James May. Oz Clarke (MO 1962-1967) has been awarded an OBE in the UK New Years Honours list for his services to broadcasting and journalism.

Clarke told the PA news agency that he would be celebrating his honour with a glass (or two) of Sussex sparkling wine from 1998. 'I found it under the stairs and so it's a 20-year-old bottle... that's finally going to meet its maker.'
