Iain Overton (BR 1986-1991) To Host Free Conflict Reporting Conference

Iain Overton (BR 1986-1991) is the organiser and host of a free full-day conference on journalism and conflict reporting in the 21st century. The conference is ideal for those studying journalism and wanting to get some insight into the evolution of conflict journalism and aspects of reporting during the conflict. 

Overton is an author and human rights campaigner, with one of his most notable works being  The Price of Paradise: How the Suicide Bomber Shaped the Modern Age  (2017). He is also the Executive Director of 'Action on Armed Violence' - a UK violence research charity. 

The conference titled 'Conflict Reporting in the 21st Century' will take place on Saturday 8th February from 8:30pm-6:00pm at Birbeck College, London. 

The speakers include some of the best writers and broadcasters in this subject.
