Dead in a Week (or your money back)

Tom Edmunds (LN 1992 - 1997) has written and directed his first feature film.

Following in the footsteps of acclaimed OKS film directors, Michael Powell and Carol Reed,  Tom Edmunds (LN 1992-7) has written and directed his first feature film Dead in a Week (or your money back) which is being released exclusively at selected Odeon Cinemas on November 16th .

The film stars two-time Oscar nominee Tom Wilkinson ( The Full Monty, Batman Begins ), up-and-coming stars Aneurin Barnard ( Dunkirk ) and Freya Mavor ( Sunshine on Leith ), alongside Marion Bailey ( Mr Turner ) and a scene-stealing Christopher Eccleston ( Shallow Grave, Dr Who ).

The film is described as an intelligent, witty black comedy about a young writer (Aneurin Barnard) who’s unable to kill himself so he outsources his death to an ageing assassin (Tom Wilkinson).  It’s also features a soundtrack composed by Guy Garvey from  Elbow  and Pete Jobson from  I am Kloot

It premiered at Edinburgh (where it was 'Best of the Fest') and played in competition in Dinard and Rome International Film Festivals amongst others. In fact the film has already proved a big success overseas, already in cinemas in Taiwan and Hungary and about to be in 150 cinemas across Italy!

The full list of sites where you can see the film is still expanding but confirmed so far are:
