Come Sing with The King's Chorus

The King's School, Canterbury invites OKS singers of all ages and abilities to join the King's Chorus for their performance of Poulenc's Gloria in Canterbury Cathedral on Saturday 14th March 2020.

The chorus will also sing the final passages of Whitacre’s Cloudburst, a most effective and evocative work that you may have heard at the Serenade in the Cloisters, during King’s Week 2019.

There is no audition and we strongly emphasise that this is a choir for everyone ; do consider coming along!

Rehearsals are each Thursday evening in the Lent Term from 6.30 – 7.30pm in the Shirley Hall. So that we have your details in order to communicate rehearsal arrangements, we ask that all adult singers send an email of registration to Jenny McLoed, Music Administrator, on music@kings-school.co.uk

Adults are also asked to obtain their own copy of the Poulenc, available from Presto Classical (Click Here)

The Director of Music and the Choir look forward to seeing you there!

OKS of all abilities are welcome to join
