A 'Wonder' full Evening!

Meister Omers win the 2018 House Song Competition.

On 18th October, each House took to the Shirley Hall stage to compete in the annual House Song Competition, in which all sixteen houses sing a cappella.

This year, the winning house was Meister Omers with a thrilling four-part rendition of Stevie Wonder's 'Sir Duke', displaying effortless voal skill and impressive stylistic awareness.

Head Judge Dr Peter Nardore was thrilled by the standard and had a very difficult job of choosing the winner.

In second place was Broughton House with a rendition of Mr Blue Sky, and in third Mitchinson's House with Time of the Season by The Zombies!

This was a great celebration of music to end the Autumn half term. Well done to all students at King's.
